Beta Testing
Laboratory applications of coatings, adhesives, and other formulated products are no substitute for real world conditions. During the development process, we may create several versions of your product with different characteristics and ingredients. By setting up and managing beta site testing programs, we can provide application support and market feedback. We can also test your product against similar ones for performance claims or evaluations.
A beta test program can include:
- Defining the selection, testing, reporting, and follow-up protocol for evaluation of the prototype product
- Site selection evaluation (for example, a school or office setting) to address the new coating product
- Utilizing a non-biased expert to apply the product and get immediate feedback on the application properties
- Reporting of observations, applicator feedback, and any product related information that may be useful for product improvements
- Follow-up to test and ensure performance and acceptance of the product

For example, some beta test applications include consumer input and evaluation, whereas others only include industrial evaluation for production acceptance.
